The short answer
A restaurant order management system puts all your orders in one place, tells the kitchen and keeps the record. Billing at the counter, stock and accounts are different tools.
Menuthere gives you your own ordering system: your own website and link, table QR codes and WhatsApp. The orders and the customers are yours, and they all land in one dashboard and one phone app.
It does not bring in orders from Zomato, Swiggy, talabat or other delivery apps. Those stay in their apps. The section on delivery apps below says what to look at.
Commission is 0% on every plan, so you keep what you earn instead of paying it to a delivery app. Free costs $0 and includes 50 orders a month. Lite at $17 a month and Pro at $39 a month remove the cap. See pricing.
How it works
What happens from the moment a customer orders until you look it up again.
A customer orders on your website, scans a table QR code or messages you on WhatsApp. It is saved in the dashboard at once. On WhatsApp you also get a copy on your own number.
The Android and iPhone app keeps ringing until you accept the order. This works on every plan.
Tap Accept, or turn on auto-accept. It suits a busy counter or a cloud kitchen with one phone. It is a dashboard setting.
The KOT and the bill print as separate documents, because they usually go to different printers. Print from the browser, or use the Menuthere Windows print app with a thermal printer. Auto-print sends the KOT at the status you choose.
Move the order through Accepted, Food ready, Dispatched and Completed, or mark it Cancelled. The customer sees it on their order status page, with no phone call.
Search orders, filter by type or status and look back. Free keeps recent orders. Lite keeps the full history and lets you export it.
Inside the dashboard
A printer is something you buy yourself.
Website, table QR and WhatsApp orders in one list. Switch between live, all, pre-orders and dropped orders. Filter by type and status, or search. Orders from a WhatsApp Order Now link carry a WhatsApp tag.
Android and iPhone. The alert repeats until you accept. On every plan.
One switch. New orders accept themselves. On every plan.
They print as separate documents. Your logo and FSSAI number can go on the bill. See restaurant billing software.
Unlimited on every plan, one for each cashier and cook. Captains take table orders in the captain app with the POS add-on, into the same dashboard.
Free keeps recent orders. Lite keeps the full history and exports orders and your customer list.
More than a list
A table QR orders into the same dashboard. A setting checks the diner is at the restaurant first. If they order again from the same table, the new items join their open order and bill, and the feed shows it as edited. Menuthere also has a basic POS as an add-on. See table ordering.
Customers pick a time, including a table slot. The order waits in the pre-order list, so the kitchen sees tomorrow's orders today.
One account can run several outlets. A brand can show customers an outlet picker.
What it does not do
Menuthere does not pull in orders from Zomato, Swiggy, talabat or any other delivery app. Those stay in each app's own tablet and dashboard. Menuthere handles orders from your own website, table QR codes and WhatsApp.
To see delivery-app orders next to your billing, look at a POS or an aggregator that integrates those apps. Petpooja lists Swiggy, Zomato and Dineout integrations. In the US, ChowNow sells delivery-app order aggregation. These are options to look at, not Menuthere features.
Menuthere's only POS integration is with Petpooja. On Pro, Menuthere sets it up at no extra cost. It does not bring delivery-app orders into Menuthere.
Some owners keep the apps to be found and invite repeat customers to order from their own link. For the money side, see commission-free online ordering, and what Zomato and Swiggy charge in India.
Cloud kitchens
A cloud kitchen has no dining room, so the ringing app, auto-accept and KOT matter most. More in cloud kitchens.
Import your menu from a photo or PDF. Orders ring on the phone app and the KOT prints. Each brand can have its own ordering website.
Set delivery zones and fees. Basic zones are on Free. Fees by distance and zones drawn on a map are on Lite. On Pro, use your own riders with live tracking, or Shiprocket or Adloggs. See delivery management.
The status page shows the order moving. On Pro with your own riders, customers can follow the rider live. On Pro, status updates can also go out on WhatsApp from your own number.
Options and prices
Systems that add delivery-app orders to billing cost more and suit a different restaurant. Prices are as each company published them on the date in the sources.
| Option | What order management means there | Delivery-app orders on the same screen? | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Menuthere | Website, table QR and WhatsApp orders in one dashboard and phone app. KOT printing. Basic POS add-on. | No | Free $0 (50 orders a month), Lite $17 a month, Pro $39 a month. 0% commission. |
| Petpooja (India) | A POS with online order management and order reconciliation. | Yes. Lists Swiggy, Zomato and Dineout integrations. | A paid Base Plan, which includes delivery-app integrations. See the source for the price. |
| ChowNow (US, Canada) | An ordering website and apps, plus delivery-app order aggregation. | Yes, on Grow and above. Not in Launch. | Monthly plans, a setup fee and a fee per transaction. Order aggregation starts on Grow. |

Read in September and October 2026. Prices change, so check the source. Payment-gateway fees go to the gateway, not Menuthere. Menuthere suits owners whose orders come through their own channels. A POS with app integrations suits owners who live on the delivery apps.
